Tournament Registration

NOTE: This page is for NY Wonders players to register individually for tournaments. Teams wishing to register for the NYGB Regional Tournament (formerly the Maria Pepe Tournament) can do so HERE when registration is open.

The NY Wonders attend up to four tournaments each year. Players who wish to attend any of these tournaments as a New York Wonder will register for each tournament individually on this page.

Tournament Schedule

The NY Wonders attend one or more of the following tournaments:

Pawtucket Slaterettes: Slaterettes Classic, Pawtucket, RI (June)

Baseball For All: BFA Nationals (venue changes each year - July)

Chesapeake Girls Baseball: Skylar Kaplan Pioneer Series, Lake Shore, MD (August)

NY Girls Baseball: Maria Pepe Tournament, Yaphank, NY (Sept)

DC Girls Baseball: DMV Tournament, Ellicott City, MD (October).

The exact dates of each tournament may change from year to year.

Teams

The teams we will send to each tournament are dependent on the number of players we can find for each team.

Most tournaments that we attend include the following divisions:

10U - 12U - 14U - 16U - 18U/23U/17+

Sometimes the divisions are broken up into Majors/Minors. We will decide on which subdivision our teams will compete in on a case-by-case basis.

Hotels

Some tournaments (NYGB Regional Tourney) are at stay-to-play venues, which means teams are required to use that venue's third-party hotel booking company to book hotels.

For other tournaments (Slaterettes Classic, BFA Nationals, Skylar Kaplan Series, DMV), teams book their own hotels, either in blocks or individually.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to register as a Wonder to play on a tournament team?

Yes, anyone wishing to play with the NY Wonders at a tournament will also need to complete the season registration for the Wonders. This ensures that you are under our insurance and covers administrative fees. You can register for the season HERE.
