NYGB Lady Liberty Classic

We are so excited to once again host the NYGB Lady Liberty Classic! Our annual Labor Day weekend tournament brings together teams from across the United States and Canada to celebrate the friendship, camaraderie, and good-natured competition of girls baseball.

When
The NYGB Lady Liberty Classic will be held August 30th-31st. Time slots for practices will be available for Friday August 29th. In case of inclement weather, games maybe played on Monday, September 1st.
Games
There is a 3-game guarantee for all divisions of 3 teams or more.
Saturday August 30th‐ Pool Play
Sunday August 31st- Single Elimination Bracket Play
Divisions
We field the following divisions:
10U- 4 slots
12U- 6 slots
14U- 6 slots
16U- 6 slots
17U+- 6 slots
Birthdate cutoff for each age group is April 30.
Example: If a player is 12 and turns 13 on May 1st, they are still eligible to play for the 12U team, as they were 12 years old as of April 30th. If a player is 12 and turns 13 on April 29th, they will have to play in the 14U division, as they were 13 as of April 30.
Hotels
Lasorda Legacy Park is a stay-to-play venue. We are required to use their third-party company to book hotels.

Note: Long Island during the summer is a popular tourist destination. For that reason we recommend booking hotels early, even if you aren't sure if your team will be attending. Hotel deposits are refundable.
