The NYGB Lady Liberty Classic is held on the Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day (US) Weekend. We reserve Monday as a backup day in case of inclement weather.

The facility is open to tournament teams on the Friday evening of that weekend, for those who want to get together for practices, batting cage time, or pre-tourney team meetings.

There is a 3-game guarantee for all divisions of 3 teams or more.

The number of teams in each division will determine the style of play (e.g. pool v round robin), as well as the total number of games.

We field the following divisions:

10U

12U

14U

16U

If we have enough interest, we may also field an 18U/17+ division - please let us know if you have an older team that wants to play!

The birthdate cutoff for each age group is April 30th.

Example:

• If a player turns 13 on May 1st, they are still eligible to play for the 12U team, as they were 12 years old as of April 30th.



• If a player turns 13 on April 29th, they will have to play in the 14U division, as they were 13 as of April 30th.

Lasorda Legacy Park is a stay-to-play venue. We are required to use their third-party company to book hotels.

Note: Long Island during the summer is a popular tourist destination. For that reason we recommend booking hotels early, even if you aren't sure if your team will be attending. Hotel deposits are refundable.
